The project “Experiential Tourism for Sustainable Rural Development” (EXTOR) is a thirty-month long project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA220-VET (Agreement number 2023-1-IT01-KA220-VET-000154283) with the participation of organisations from Italy, Greece, Cyprus,  Belgium, Spain and Iceland.

The EXTOR project aims to support the sustainable development of rural areas through the promotion of experiential forms of tourism and the adoption of environmentally sustainable solutions, upskilling rural entrepreneurs, to limit people’s outflows to urban areas, create new multi-actor communication, digital marketing and networking channels, increase VET providers/trainers’ capacity to adapt their training offer to current and future needs of economy and society, strengthening their resilience.
