"The use of Artificial Intelligence in the Work of a Teacher",  AIWOT project in short, is an Erasmus+ Small Scale partnership in VET (KA210-VET) project funded by the Estonian National Agency (Project No. 2023-2-EE01-KA210-VET-000170467) . The project is coordinated by Valga County Vocational Training Centre (VKOK) from Estonia with the participation of Business and Hospitality Training Centre (VESK) from Lithuania and Olympic Training and Consulting from Greece.

The motivation behind the implementation of this project concerns the real needs of Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres to adapt their services by means of adding Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the process of training content development and delivery of trainings. The rapid advancement of AI is reshaping education. VET is key-component to workforce preparation while the integration of AI in the daily activities can enhance the quality and relevance of the offered training services.

In the frame of AIWOT the partnership:

1. Conducts a survey of existing AI tools to the VET sector and categorizes AI tools based on their functionalities.

2. Pilot tests most suitable AI tools in VET teaching following the Bloom's taxonomy, in collaboration with AI experts and educators to evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of AI tools in VET teaching.

3. Provides recommendations that align AI tools with the needs and subjects of vocational teachers, ensuring that they are equipped with basic skills for AI tools' use.

The anticipated results of the AIWOT project are as follows

1) Compilation of a list featuring a minimum of 30 pertinent AI tools for Vocational Education and Training (VET).

2) Minimum of 10 case studies illustrating the effective use of AI tools in VET educational practice.

3) Creation of profiles for 12 AI tools that have undergone evaluation using Bloom's Taxonomy.

4) Training of 12 VET educators and teachers, enabling them to understand and use the 12 piloted AI tools in their teaching practices.
